Kris Aquino: ABS-CBN doesn't want me anymore
It was the last quarter of 2016 when the news about the departure of Kris Aquino from ABS-CBN made the headlines. For 22 long years the giant network was the home of Ms. Aquino. She took a few months break last year and she came back to meet with ABS-CBN, there was no definite line up of projects waiting for her. Hence, her decision to leave the network.
The popular TV host and actress was in talks with the rival of her former home network, GMA 7 through her management agency for a TV show but it seems that this did not push through. It has been months since the separation happened but Krissy remains a freelancer.
In an incident in the social media, a netizen urged her to return to her home network so they can see her again in another talk show where she can demonstrate her hosting prowess but the popular multimedia star replied and said, "But they no longer want me – it is perfectly okay because we must be happy w/ God’s plans for our lives.”
It is apparent that despite her desire to come back to her former home network, there are no offers coming from them. Fortunately, Ms. Krissy is taking everything in a stride.
