Tawag ng Tanghalan Champion Noven Belleza out on bail for P120,000
From rape, the case filed against Noven Belleza, the champion of the very popular singing contest - Tawag ng Tanghalan, was downgraded to sexual assault by the Cebu City Assistant Prosecutor Ma. Theresa Casiño. Since the case was downgraded, the singer was allowed to post a bail bond amounting to P120,000. Had the rape case accepted by the court, the new singer will inevitably serve unpredictable jail time during the course of the case proceedings.

The case filed against the winner of the popular singing contest was filed by a local entertainer in Cebu. There are a lot of speculations at what really transpired between the accused and the victim and these growing rumors are rapidly circulating online which are causing a lot of damage to the image of the defendant.
The performer denied all the allegations of the local entertainer against him. According to his counsel, Atty. Leilani Villarino, “We will answer everything during court trial. What is important now is he will be able to post bail. For now, he enjoys the presumption of innocence.”
Another rumor is circulating about the controversial performer. It was reported that, his long-time girlfriend is currently pregnant.
