Will Robin Padilla run for VP?
Robin Padilla is known for his patriotism. A few days ago he demonstrated his love for the country and his countrymen by donating P5 million for the psychosocial intervention program for the child victims of the war in Marawi. The donation was received Department of Social Welfare and Development Undersecretary Emmanuel Leycoed in simple ceremony in Malacanang last August 16.

Robin Padilla's act of benevolence and altruism is being questioned by some. His donation to the children of Marawi who suffered physical and psychological turmoil is causing uproar in the internet. Some netizens implies that his generosity lack sincerity, moreover, they consider this as a political stunt to improve his image as he aspires to run for the second highest government position in the country, the vice presidency.
Although some find his intention political and insincere, some applaude the original bad boy of the Philippine entertainment industry for his unselfishness to share his monetary blessing to his countrymen in need.
