Gretchen Barretto bashed a waitress on social media
Gretchen Barretto showed her sarcastic side when she embarrassed a waitress from a very prominent resort-casino. Apparently, she asked for "alcohol" from the server and when the server came back, she was handed an antiseptic Isopropyl alcohol.
The video have almost 100,000 views but it is noticeable that there are no comments posted. The comments were evidently deleted by the actress to avoid more bashing.
Here are some of the comments from a website regarding the issue:
“It’s not funny, napahiya yung waitress…tama naman siya, be specific next time.” (It's not funny, the waitress was ridiculed. She is right. Be specific next time.")
“Madam ang babaw mo ha..pati ba naman maliit na bagay you make patol. Be considerate naman po @mejoMalditaSiGreta.” (Madame, you are so shallow. You are making a mountain out of a molehill. Be considerate, @mejoMalditaSiGreta).
“You asked for a f**king alcohol dummy! So what do you expect? That waitress did the right thing y’all."
So next time you gonna be more specific coz you’ll get what you ask for. Who’s the dumbass now?! Quit laughing!”
However, there are those who believed that La Greta was, in fact, right about this matter:
"Sana nagconfirm muna cya sa customer nya kung anong klaseng alcohol bago cya nagserve, trabaho nya yun." (She should have confirmed what type of alcohol before she served the order. It is her job to do so)
"ALCOHOL is wine! Dapat siguro itrain na mabuti ang mga waitress sa resort casino dyan dahil yung mga ibang banyaga I am sure they will also use the term alcohol!" (Alcohol is wine! Maybe the resort-casino must train their waitresses better because I am sure that the their foreign customers us the term alcohol to refer to wine!)
The waitress was ridiculed by Gretchen but at the end of the day, she was also bashed for posting the video to make fun of someone.
