Alden Richards and Maine Mendoza have confessed their romantic relationship publicly. However, a lot of blind items and news came out that the relationship is a hoax and merely a media ploy to keep fans interested with the love team.
It was reported that Maine is actually dating Sef Cadayona while Alden is in a relationship with Patricia Tumulak. Alden and Patricia allegedly meets in a condominium owned by the former's cousin. However, some netizens claimed that Alden is not dating Patricia since he is gay. They refuse to accept the gossip between the couple due to the homosexuality issue being tagged to Alden.
