Last May 2017, the mega star Sharon Cuneta admitted being stripped of inheritance money and acknowledging having massive debts. However, she further explained her past investments can cover these debts that cost roughly about P150M.
In her interview with Boy Abunda last June, she was quoted to say, "My investments cost 8 to 9 figures and it's not easy to sell something that costs P150 million. That's like $3 million," she said, adding: "I have enough. I am sorry and I don't mean to brag, I am not bankrupt. I have been a billionaire before I married Kiko [Pangilinan]."
She then shrugged off allegations of bankruptcy and financial difficulties.
Months after her controversial admission of her financial status, she started sharing her collections of bags in social media.
Known to have been born with a silver spoon and then earning millions through TV shows, albums, movies and endorsement, it is safe to say that she can really afford most luxuries in the world.
On August 31, 2017, she posted on Instagram her favorite bag which was surprisingly not a Hermes Birkin or Kelly, it's a purple alligator Louis Vuitton which she brought from Milan, Italy years ago.
According to PEP.ph, the bag costs a whopping $40,000 US dollars or PHP2,042,960!
The megastar then posted a rare Yves Saint Laurent Cabas tote in pink crocodile leather. According to her personal shopper, this bag is the one in the United States.
Aside from these two luxury bags, Sharon reportedly owns 30 Hermes Birkin bags, each one costing $10,000 to $40,000, or PHP500,000 and up.
Sharon ended the post with a clarification that her intention to post her collection is not to brag and she doesn't want other people to take it the wrong way. She added that her lifestyle is no secret, anyway.
